Written in rhythmic enchanting verses and vibrantly illustrated, this installment introduces little readers to the Hindu festival of Holi. Known as the Festival of Colors, it announces the arrival of spring. A joyful little girl named Riya tells the readers all about Holi.

My Thoughts on Celebrate Holi With Me! (From The Toddler Diaries)
Celebrate Holi With Me! (From The Toddler Diaries) by Shoumi Sen is a great story for Hindu children to see the celebration of Holi portrayed in a book. I think that the story can also introduce other children to the holiday of Holi. It is important for children to learn about holidays different than their own. The book includes a glossary of Hindi words at the end, which is very helpful for those new to the Hindi words used throughout the story.
